Problems w/ homebrew channel softmod for the wii?

like the title sez, have hbc successfully installed, but i dont know how to get the burnt disc to play …
used imageburn (4x burn speed on memorex dvd-r) but i cant get it to play… now 1 thing. after installing the hbc, i removed the sdcard. is there any other files(after intial install) to go onto this sdcard? and what are the steps i need to take, in order to play a disc? do i need to visit the hbc in order to play? idk …. oh, and the last detail i left out, was my drive: its a sony DVD RW DW-Q28A …. dont know if that may be where the problem is …. anyhelp appreciated…. thx

    Since modyfying my console i have not been able to play any orignal games… just backups. Anyone have a solution for this?
